We saw massive chunks of ice fall into the ocean about every five minutes. They call this calving. At the far left of this picture you can see a large piece of ice that looks like it wants to break off and fall into the ocean. About a minute after this photo was taken it did break off and fall in. It was so loud! If you look at the last picture in the blog you can see the water exploding from this piece falling off. I am never capable of getting a quick photo off.
